Hello, I have been having connectivity issues for weeks now. I've asked for help here several times. Thunderbird still appears to have been corrupted.

  • Bulleted list item Incoming emails repeat (download ) multiple times
  • Bulleted list item Deleted message RELOAD to inbox multiple times
  • Bulleted list item Multiple folders created ( not by me)
  • Bulleted list item Tested in Safe mode multiple times - same issues.
  • Bulleted list item Today I attempted to send
  • Bulleted list item a message = got multiple mail.ihot.com time outs and no longer receiving incoming messages as well.

I worked with ihot help yesterday and things were cleared - by matching their password with Thunderbird's new one, which appeared to fix the issue. Four days of emails appeared right after I did that.

Now today I discover I can't sent emails and the incoming is again broken.

When trying to reload TB, I always get the following message ( c- image) 137.01-2 corrupt image So I took my iMac to a repair shop and they ALSO got the same error message.

SO, HOW can I replace the existing corrupted file? I have urgent messages I need to receive and send. Please help. My Public IPv4:23.93.49.41 as of 12:30pm 4/5/25 Imac Settings image attached.

People may be hesitating to help because your situation is complex. You have an old computer with and old version of macOS. It cannot even run version 137 of Thunderbird, which you are trying to install with that disk image. macOS 10.15 or later is required. What version of Thunderbird are you using now?

Let's start with some troubleshooting information.

What happens when you try to send messages and can't? Do you receive an error message?

Would you please post a screenshot of your incoming and outgoing server settings in Thunderbird?

What do you mean by "Thunderbird's new [password]"?

Do these problem occur in troubleshooting mode? Go the "Help" menu, select "Troubleshoot Mode...", press the button to re-start Thunderbird, then see if your problems persist.

It is not possible to run version 137 on your machine, and if you attempt to do so it will fail.

In fact, with your macOS 10.13 you cannot run anything higher than version 115. You are stuck with using version 115.

Also, if you are downloading from https://thunderbird.net/download/ with a macOS 10.13 then it should not offer anything other than Thunderbird version 115.
