I copied my W7 profile to my W10 laptop. I had used Tbird previously on the laptop with a different profile. When I tried to open Tbird I got the "You have launched an older version of Thunderbird" which says a newer version of Tbird may have made changes to my profile which are no longer compatible with this older version. My options are to Exit or Create New Profile, but I don't think I want to create a new profile because my W7 profile has all my local folders. I can't even see which version of Thunderbird W10 is using because it won't open. Should I uninstall it and re-install it? If so, how do I do that. (I'm a newbie to W10, I hung on to my sweet W7 as long as I could...)

On each PC, click help>about to see the release version. If menu bar isn't shown, click alt key first. Share that we can proceed from that.
