What's the matter with this page's web design? - dark theme on Mozilla's support forums
I have Dark Reader installed and it works perfectly almost anywhere, but ironically, Firefox' support forum itself comes out all white regardless if it's on or off?
I'm on OpenSuse Leap 15.6 with KDE Plasma 5.27.11.

Hi
Some add-ons are blocked from being used on some Mozilla websites which I believe is done for security reasons.
Hi Paul,
Does that mean that Mozilla sees this extension as generally unsafe? I was a bit cautious to activate it at the beginning, but then I saw it's used by 1,3 million people and read that it could generally be trusted? I definitely think that we need a native one, and I find it incredibly strange that people still use white backgrounds, especially with newer screens.
This extension should have Run on sites with restrictions option. Just select Allow and it should work here.
The above 'Run on sites with restrictions' option is not present for the Dark Reader extension (4.9.103 on FF 136.0.2 on Windows).
I found https://github.com/darkreader/darkreader/issues/13579 which pointed to some steps at https://github.com/darkreader/darkreader#enable-dark-reader-on-restricted-pages-on-mozilla-firefox which also weren't present on my version. I eventually found a way to enable the add-on for this site under Settings but the display still doesn't change. :-(
[short reply as the forum binned my detailed one]
The above option isn't present on the current Dark Reader add-on on Firefox on Windows. The steps at https://github.com/darkreader/darkreader/issues/13579 also don't work. :-(
