your antivirus is the security risk, it is using self signed encryption certificates. Either add 5them of disable your antivirus from scanning mail.

Thanks for prompt reply, In order to get Mozilla operating do I just click on "confirm Security Exemption" and then deal with the Anti Virus settings. Being super cautious as this is my sons laptop!

You should fix your anti-virus software first, as Matt suggested.
