Hello,

I have just migrated to NC 29 (.0.8). Since then, it’s impossible to synchronize a contact if a birthday exists. By deleting the birthday, you can synchronize the contact. I’m using cardbook (97.5) - thunderbird(128.4.3esr - 64 bits), on linux.

What should I do?

Thank you for your suggestions.

Best regards,

Christian

Just a suggestion: does the problem occur when cardbook is disabled?

Remote notebooks are linked via cardbook. If cardbook is deactivated, it is no longer possible to synchronize with NextCloud.

Carbook does save my changes locally, but it refuses to synchronize these changes for contacts with an encoded birthday.

- If I make a change to a card on cardbook, it only synchronizes if the birthday is empty. - If I make the same change on Nextcloud, the synchronization is accepted whether or not there is an encoded birthday, and I see this change on my cardbook.

I asked, only because there have been a few posts where users had problems with Cardbook. If this worked with prior version of Cardbook or Thunderbird, reverting would be my suggestion, As it is, when multiple components are interacting, it's quite a challenge to figure it out. I have no other suggestions, and hope you are able to work through this.
