In newer versions there is a delete button right on the account settings of that account.

I am afraid I simply do not understand that statement at all. Perhaps I am just to old to read the subtext

As Wayne suggests there is a button in prerelease at the moment. I looks like it still needs a lot of love with the new account part looking like it was just dropped onto the account list. The framework is there and functional though.

The release version has an account actions button.
