Hope this is the right way to respond... idk how to use this forum good. Took a screen shot: The green button was of similar shape to the black Subscribe button. He lived just to the right of the black button.

Firefox by default can't download streaming services videos like Youtube this requires Addon that works with Youtube or 3d party software to do any Youtube download.

10/21/24 Tried the green download button again today. No worky. Tried to uninstall & install again to no avail. My computer will not take a pic of the failed downloads. The green button is same as above.

i understand this is an extension. The name is "easy youtube downloader" by Firefox. Have been using same long time.

A few years ago i recall there was a prob w/ same. There was much discussion that could be found. Bottom line was we just had to wait for the fix. Now mine is the only query? smh...

Google regularly makes changes to the YouTube JavaScript code to discourage downloading its content what breaks download extensions. Extension developers need to release an update to fix such issues, so you can check its support pages.

So this problem is not supported by mozilla or firefox. Just one of their buddies. I should lament & wail at the buddy. *sigh*
