Intermittently find browser open on its own @ homepage without any action on my part.

Problem seems to be resolved: Right click Firefox icon – show more options – properties – security – group or user names – found ‘unknown’ entity. Could not delete. Uninstalled existing Firefox, installed new confirmed up to date & no previous versions exist.
