As I was using Firefox today I got this. https://search.soddeskfine.live/vupmsilr/?utm_campaign=y0rsMyowMImIDv9DTSX69oig88PrjKrJ9agQ3DpV-9I1&t=back4&f=1&sid=t2~joutodrs5sc3nyxfxglgcaim&fp=cLR6e4eyZh8orFbu6fCYQg%3D%3D

which is clearly imitating Firefox and can be harm to our PCs. Please look into this. Thanks.

This is a scam that has popped up on occasion on and off for the past decade. This may be the first post I have seen about this scam in 2024 though.

They are trying to trick people who are likely to fall for it to give their personal information like phone#, email, address and credit card information to pay for the fake $1 or 2$ shipping of prize. The fake prizes are usually a current iPhone or Android phone or a $1000 gift card from Amazon.

The search here is not bringing up many results however here are a couple fairly recent examples. /questions/1412522 /questions/1392849

Mozilla has done legit surveys related to support.mozilla.org before and may even offer amazon gift card for doing so as thanks, though only at $10 and not the $1000 gift card these obviously fake surveys may have as a fake prize.
