Since a recent update my top tool bar to the right of Inbox has a long string of recent deleted messages which is of no use to me. How can I revert to the old format which just provided command options such as address book etc.

Cheers Charles

Chosen solution

The 'Spaces Toolbar' is on far 'left' and that contains icon links to open eg: 'Address Book', 'Calendar' etc.

The tab display area shows opened tabs and it will always show the 'Mail' option which may be the folder selected eg: Inbox. The tabs which display to the right of that are pre opened emails you chose to open in tabs or preopened options such as 'Address Book' etc. To remove those other tabs:

  • Right click on the 'Inbox' tab and select 'Close other tabs'.

Then use the 'Spaces Toolbar' to open eg: 'Address Book' in a tab.
