Hi, I would like to customize the apps that firefox shows me when I click the address bar. In the attached image, you see youtube, google, reddit, wikipedia, twitter. I would like to remove some of these apps. How can I do that?

Also, there are suggested search engines on the bottom, including amazon, bing, ebay. How can I customize the apps which appear in that list? Again, I want to remove some of these apps.

Thanks.

Hi Samuel, when you click in the address bar, before you type any new text for Firefox to match off of, it shows your first 8-10 shortcuts from the built-in Firefox Home / New Tab page. To customize the shortcuts, you can pin/unpin/dismiss various sites using the tools on the Firefox Home / New Tab page. This article has the details:

Yes, this works. I wasn't seeing the Firefox Home / New Tab page because I had set my Homepage and New Tabs to open as "Blank Page". Thanks.

Oh yes, understandable. For future reference, you can type or paste about:home in the address bar and press Return to load the page rather than change your setting.

You can also create a new bookmark and set its URL field to about:home. You can find all available about: pages listed on the about:about page.
