I want to move the adress books from one location to another and point TB to the new location

I want to move the address books from one location to another and point TB to the new location. I don't see why this should be hard and I sure as hell don't want to export the addresses to a file and then import them.

Exporting and importing isn't that hard. BUT, you can use windows file explorer to copy from one profile to another if that's your preference. You can also put the addressbook on a USB stick and use the import feature to import it directly.
