As it stands, messages are downloaded to TB after I connect and the IMAP server side is deleted, no messages remain. I cannot remember why this happens, but I now want all messages to remain on the server even when I dl locally to TB. Thanks

Figured it out, I created a rule to move new mail in the inbox down to my local inbox. Sheesh, I did that so long ago I foirgot...

As it stands, messages are downloaded to TB after I connect and the IMAP server side is deleted

POP works this way. IMAP does not delete messages from the server. With IMAP the whole point is to manage messages on the server.
