I have in downloaded and executed but where is Thunderbird? How do i open it?

Most people use the icon on the task bar.
But you could also try typing Thunderbird in the search box on the windows task bar.
When I do that up comes my regular old Mozilla email page. What's changed? If Thunderbird is new I would expect it to look different and invite me to choose some settings, etc. Peter
when you go to the help menu and then about. What version does it tell you you have?
