When in Thunderbird trying to import old profile from backup media using the import tool, I get an error message saying "about:preferences : unable to run script because scripts are blocked internally" How do I manage this? Can´t find anything about it on help pages. / Olle

If you unzipped the profiiie, the tools>import> another installation can work.

Thanks, I'll try that. Another thought, if I re-zip the files that I think were previously zipped, I could try that ?

NO. If the profile is unzipped, that's a cleaner process.

OK - haven't got round to it yet - I've messed around with my pc & now it isn't working properly, so I need to sort that out first ! I'ts getting to the point where I could do with someone here with me, to try & sort everytning out, as I'm obviously completely useless at it all ;-)
