Firefox not using most current version of FCC website

more options

Hi, the FCC systems were down for over a week and they are back up and functioning. However, Firefox still shows the previous "system maintenance" page even though usage has been restored. Google Chrome is showing the most current version.

Here's an example of an FCC link that's not using the most current version. See how it looks in Firefox vs. Chrome. https://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/ApplicationSearch/searchAppl.jsp

Hmm, I can't see any difference between that page in Firefox and Edge.

Have you tried making sure that Firefox isn't using its own cache? To reload the page bypassing the cache, either:

  • Shift+click the Reload toolbar button
  • Press Ctrl+Shift+R
  • Press Ctrl+F5

You also can clear the entire Firefox web content cache:

See: How to clear the Firefox cache (only select Cached web content, don't clear all cookies and site data)

If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
