Send email from Finder or Share application with Thunderbird on Mac

SuMo Bot

Why cant I send a attached file like a PDF from Finder or by using the Share button via Thunderbird? It only works with Apple Mail.

Looking in Sharing Applications, the Thunderbird option is greyed out.

Is this a more appropriate question for Finder, since your question is on its menu?

Also, did it ever work in previous versions for Mac?

I asked Apple, and they said this was a quastion for Mozilla, since its is something they can add...

I don't know... I am new with Mac! I have always used Windows - and if you want to share a file, you just right click and choose 'Send as email' and a Thunderbird Message window pops up with the file attached...

But this dosn't work on a Mac - instead it has the 'Share' (Del..) option - that can send to phons etc...
