Import and synch outlook.com calendar to thunderbird, not Microsoft Outlook

Hi, I've searched a lot here and on other websites. I want to integrate the thunderbird calendar with the outlook.com calendar, not the Microsoft Outlook calendar. How to do so? I did publish the .ics file from outlook.com settings but do not know what to do now. Really lost. Please advice. Thanks Mohamed

To sync the outlook.com calendar (and contacts) in TB, install these add-ons:
