hello. I'm trying to export my saved logins from firefox and the instructions don't work. This is on mobile.

It says to click the menu button, three lines, and click passwords. my menu is three dots and does not have a passwords option. the browse button below this text box won't click so i can't upload screenshots. poked around all through settings and searched as i can i can't find it and am very frustrated at the convoluted inconvenience. any help you can provide so i dont have to just copy it all by hand would be much appreciated.

thank you.

These instructions are for desktops only. On mobile to export passwords you can only use the Sync feature.

thank you, but what? i clicked sync, which has the camera scan thing and clicked log in with email instead, now it has this name where sync used to be, and when i click it i still don't see any way to export passwords. i dont have access to desktop right now; am i just s--- out of luck?

thanks for your time answering<3

ps freals thank you so much for talking me through it. the number of nonsense obstacles in my life is insane but I'm trying to slowly untangle them into something functional.

On mobile you need to use Sync to transfer the logins to a desktop device and then you should be able to export the logins to a CSV file in Firefox for desktop (about:logins), so both devices need to be connected to the same Sync account (email address/password).

k so to confirm if you don't have desktop there is no workaround? is there a reason for that or just oversight? absolutely no way to do it with smartphone only besides manually going through the password list and copy-pasting one by one? :|
