Where Is "mail.delete"

About 20 days ago I posted:

But didn't get any help. After a lot of searching, someone said go to: Tools,Options..... to change mail.delete.

I don't have Options under tool.

Elsewhere I saw to change Preferences but I can't find that either.

What can I do?

This has changed in recent versions and may be dependent on your OS. In windows, it is tools>settings
