I have a number of related emails that can be found on a search which shows the parent folder as, let's say, BBB. I cannot discover how to find the folder BBB in the left hand folder tree in Thunderbird. I want to find it and move it to a logical place in the folder/sub-folder structure so that I can have all the relevant emails in an easy to find folder. Thanks.

This one is easy. Conduct the search Ctrl-K of all folders. Then click on the text in the upper right of the search screen that says "Show results as list." If you have the display set to show a column of "Location" the location will be listed. Of course that folder may be buried in another folder. Right-click the email of interest and the 4th item in the list of options is Open Message in Containing Folder. Click it and the message should open in the folder as requested. Unfortunately in testing this to write you an answer, I find that my installation of v1.202.4.1 sometimes does as it is requested, and sometimes clicking "open message ..." does not work.
