I have Windows 11. Suddenly my emails, instead of being in date order have now become all muddled up. This is only in one of my accounts. I have uninstalled and re-installed but no change. I have uninstalled, removed my profiles no change. I installed the add on and still no change. What else can I do please other than change my email client which I am loathe to do having been a faithful happy user for more years than I care to remember.

Thank you for your help although I am not sure which helped. Finally as I seemed to be getting nowhere I just juggled the options and whatever combination it was worked for me.

What version are you using? Is it possible the folders are in threaded view, which may cause dates to appear randomly? Try clicking View>sort by>unthreaded and see if that addresses your issue.

Thanks David but I’m afraid I had already done that and have checked again. I am using version 102.1.2 64bit. The email from you was about two thirds of the way down between one from 2019 and one from 2021!

Please check out the menu bar immediately above the message list. Click the 'date' or 'received', whichever is showing, and the sequence should change.

Tried both of those, the emails just reverse order as usual but still stay muddled. Ugh!
