mailto link action of browser does not work since last update, now it only shows firefox as the only option, you cannot specify anything else. if is not going to work, then delete the feature. firefox is going downhill

well thanks for this but is not helpful. the fact that all the options have diapered, you can no longer select a webmail account (gmail, yahoo, etc) is where the problem is

You can use the Profile Manager to create a new profile and copy the handlers.json file in the new profile to your current profile.

You can use the button on the "Help -> More Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page (Root directory).
