How can I transfer Browsing data like bookmarks, etc from my old laptop to the new one? I have logged in, sync is on however, I can't find the data transfer option. Both are desktop so scan dose not work.

Are both devices connected to the same Sync account ?

When the old device with the bookmarks is connected then Firefox should upload the bookmarks to the Sync server. This initial sync can take some time, especially with a lot of bookmarks, so be patient with connecting the new device..

You can install the About Sync extension in Firefox 72 and newer on desktop to check what data is stored on the Sync server via the about:sync page provided by this extension.

Close and restart Firefox to access the about:sync page added by this extension (see the about:about page for possible about pages).

You can copy certain files with Firefox closed to the current profile folder to transfer or recover personal data. Note that best is to avoid copying a full profile folder.

You can use the button on the "Help -> More Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page (Root directory).
