Changed subfolder icon to "arrow"

How can I delete an Inbox subfolder that has been ascribed an "arrow" icon? How did that happen? I can not delete it or change the name and I don't know what the "arrow" signifies. There are no filters pointing to that folder or other funny stuff.

Chosen solution

In that case, delete the file that corresponds with that folder from your profile folder. You will be looking for a file named FAV 3 with no extension. Quit Tbird before deleting it.

That arrow is for the Sent folder. Look at your Account Settings, under Copies & Folders and make sure the right folder is selected for saving copies of sent messages.

I have the Inbox as saving copies, always had. As you can see from the picture there are TWO folders with arrows, the subfolder 3 FAV and the folder Skickat (Sent in Swedish). The 3 FAV folder changed for no obvious reason and it is damn irritating.

What are the contents of the 3 FAV folder? Only you can tell if it contains recently sent messages or not. Send a test message and confirm that it is indeed not saved in this folder, and that it is saved in the Inbox as you intend it to be.

The folder is obviously empty, otherwise I wouldn't want to delete it. All sent messages for that account are placed in the Inbox main folder as intended. I also have a copy sent to myself in another account for security purposes. There is som sort of mixup in the folder structure and I can't figure out how to fix it. It's possible to live with but very irritating.

You can try deleting it via webmail OR unsubscribe from the folder to remove it from the Folder Pane.

Im not sure I follow you here. It's a POP-account.

The folders only exist in my local Thunderbird.

Super! Works like a charm. Thanx!
