Chosen solution

Click Advanced config. and then OAuth2 should be available under Server Settings (see picture for gmail example). It's a bug in the account setup that omits OAuth2 for OAuth2-supported providers.

I would like to mention, I use the Athunticator app for two-step verification. I tried activating/deactivating two-step verification but it did not help. This same issue is having with the yahoo email also.

The incoming server should be imap.gmail.com, and the authentication should be OAuth2 for both servers. Cookies must be accepted in TB Preferences for OAuth to work (use account password in OAuth authentication).

For Yahoo, use imap.mail.yahoo.com on 993 and smtp.mail.yahoo.com on 465. SSL/TLS and OAuth2 for both servers, and User Name = email address.

Hello, Thanks for your reply. When I change the hostnames as mentioned by you, the done button gets disabled. From where can I select the OAuth2?

more options

Change the authentication method from Normal password to OAuth2, for incoming and outgoing.

Hello, Thanks for showing the settings. I have set up both incoming and outgoing servers. But I still do not understand what to do next to connect with servers, do authentication and fetch emails. I tried to read messages but it did not.
