Thunderbird not working with outlook, yahoo only gmail
It seems outlook owned by microsoft is either sabotaging the compatibility of thunderbird to access it's email servers and colluding with yahoo to sabotage 'free' email clients like thunderbird. for business this kind of bugs is not acceptable as it's filtering email that is obviously NOT SPAM and email should be received and sent instantly.
Same with Yahoo, it's owned by Sprint or some telco and ever since it was sold to T or sprint, yahoo website been abandoned or sabotaged. Just like the 'free' windows mail in windows it's no longer works from new server 'sabotage' email is the most basic and essential application for home and business and microsoft is now selling annual subscriptions for a product that used to be free. people don't need spam filters or encryption for home uses as long as emails are sent and received.

Wasting enough time to realize,,these corporations like yahoo, microsoft just sabotage their products and no longer works and you need to pay for $5/month subscription for email client..wtf. only way is for consumers or public not to use outlook, not use yahoo. as their email servers are programmed to sabotage email clients like thunderbird or windows 10 so it doesn't work or 'incompatible,,and you need to 'upgrade ' to 2022 outlook or new office 2022 and need monthly subscription. nothing has changed..email is the most basic application and it worked better in 1995 than now.
Is there a question in there? NotE I have AOL, YAHOO and outlook/hotmail in Thunderbird and they are working. Could it be the problem is something other than the corporations? I am not defending them, but my experience using Thunderbird and yours appear to be quite different.
It doesn't work, thunderbird is just client, outlook servers and yahoo servers need to be 'compatible' with thunderbird, it should 'automatically sign in and login. What happens is microsoft either makes hard or difficult for non-microsoft clients to work with it's email servers using imap and pop. Windows mail which was FREE on windows before windows 10 then it just didn't work one day? Email is the simpliest forms of internet commmunications. It is easier to program too. Either some code is blocking or making very hard to be compatible...known as SOFTWARE SABOTAGE...so poeople have to pay for the email clients, microsoft and many email clients are charging $7/month to use their email clients so there is a billion dollar reason to sabotage thunderbird okay
I wasted half a day trying to figure out why windows 10 was no longer workign with outlook, yahoo, emails and and it was sabotage..software that used to be 'compatible' and no problems suddenly issues cannot receive email not logging in and keeping as for password,,I can't fix it as it's software coding that is beyond me and it's on the email server side. so don't waste if it not working ,its because they don't want it to work.
thunderbird has no issues with gmails .receiving and sending
thunderbird has issues with outlook and yahoo. or other email servers as they have bad or wrong apis for encryption and spam..etc.
maybe thunderbird can just have option of no spam filters and no encryption or yahoo and micrsoft outlook email servers are designed so it works intermittently or just filters email. missing emails is not good or email goign to spam folder or not receiving email at all.
the issue is by 'default' yahoo and outlook email servers using AI to identify 'spam' well a lot of emails that were legitimate email was put i spam folder, it was obviouis it was not spam. as spam email are the emails sent to multiple emails and email servers can see that.
outlook and yahoo have too high spam filters and filters everything. or bad AI
and it doesn't even go to spam folder outlook and yahoo just blocks and doesn' t even put the 'spam=' email in the spam folder
Did two email Test 1. sent outlook email to myself own outlook email using thunderbird email client.
no receiving email from thunderclient. no email received and no spam
2. sent outlook email to myself own outlook email USING microsoft OUTLOOK client.
RECEIVED email from outlook client.
conclusion: either thunderbird is not communicating with outlook email server or it is blacklisted or bad api and probably same with yahoo email server have not tested yahoo. conclusion: it's the email client that is the problem no the outlook email configurations etc or manually entering email accounts
this 2022 why are people still MANUALLY setting up email accounts, this is not 1994.
