Difficulty using text tools

Toad-Hall replied

When I reply to a message and especially when I copy and paste some text, the editor is extremely rebellious and doesn't do what I want with the font's name, type and size. How do I get full command to use text tools?

When you copy and paste some text, you will be copy pasting all the hidden html and css formatting code that has already been applied in the program or website displaying the text. So when you attempt to apply your choices of font's name, type and size etc, the code will become messy and unreliable. It is particulary a problem when copy pasting a load of microsoft specific css for obvious reasons - it is designed for MS products. Therefore you need to paste without formatting and this will then allow you better control. In Write window, use 'Edit' > 'Paste without Formatting' or using keyboard 'Ctrl' + 'Shift' + 'V' Upon pasting, it will use the default settings you have set up in the Preferences which you use automatically when you click on 'Write' to compose emails.
