Hi Guys, I'm with Thunderbird for over 20 years and treated it as the best ever mail agent, until recent year.

The recent year pushed me to be more PROACTIVE and SAFE, so there is more and more multiple factor authentication around and it feels like you don't get it as both of my email accounts couldnt connect. At the same time my outlook apps work perfectly right. Strange? Guess: the implementation of the Oauth in my opinion. I really support Thunderbird for years including money support, hence my request.

any questions: domaniqs@gmail.com all the best! Maciej

There is lots of help for setting up Oauth2 with Thunderbird, but often it depends on the email provider. Here is one commonly used one for you - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/thunderbird-and-yahoo One thing that does trip people up is that Thunderbird needs to store a cookie in order to remember the Oauth2 authentication, and they don't have that setting "on" in Thunderbird. That is included in the article I mentioned above. So do check that Thunderbird allows cookies, or set it to allow cookies specifically for your email provider, whichever that is.
