Hello, so at some i've created local address book, which then got obsolete so i now need to delete it. Question is - how to delete it? I couldn't find related option wherever i looked. Another thing i'd like to ask - why can't i choose multiple records from one book and simply add/transfer them to another book?

Chosen solution

The default books Personal Address Book and Collected Addresses can't be deleted, but the others can by simply selecting them in the Directory Pane and then the Delete key. If the Directory Pane is hidden, press Alt to show the Menu Bar, then View/Layout.

Contacts can be moved between books by drag and drop: select the source in the Directory Pane. then the contacts in the right pane, and drop them onto the target icon in the Directory Pane. Hold Ctrl while dragging to copy instead of move.

Then you might want to click on the address book icon so your in the address book before you start looking.

ah, indeed, address book menu has its own directory pane which i needed to enable. And i also can drag & drop contacts between local books, pity i can't do that with LDAP catalogue.

Thanks
