I wiped my hard drive and resinstalling everything. I cannot get TB to load my old verizon email. I can get my verizon email at the web aol address, and I can put in my gmail address in TB so I know TB is working, but not my old verizon address and password? It says configuration found in database, in green, but then in about 2 minutes later it says unable to log in at server. Probably wrong configuration username or password in yellow. I changed the password when I log into the web mail, and used that new one to try to get TB to log in to my verizon account but it still will not. Any Ideas??? I will gladly pay anyone who can figure this out. Thank you, Joaquin

Chosen solution

Create an app password:

Remove the entries from Saved Passwords in Preferences, restart TB, enter the app password instead of the account password when prompted.

A Verizon account requires an app password, unless you use AOL servers and OAuth2 authentication.

Hi sfhowes: Thank you for responding. Your time is worth something, I want to compensate you for your time. I am not sure what an app password is. When I go to add mail account and put in my verizon email and password it says incoming server already exists. I don't know what to do next. thank you Joaquin
