Tried to update Firefox, but my system is no longer supported
I naively tried to update my Firefox software, but then when I tried to open it, I got a message saying my system is too old. I have OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.6. I gather you can download an older version of Firefox, but the directory is rather confusing, I don't know which option I need. Any help would be gratefully received, thank you!

The most updated version you can run on macOS 10.11.x is Fx 78.15esr

Fx 79.0 and later has required mac OS 10.12 or later to run. https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/79.0/system-requirements/ https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/94.0/system-requirements/
