Did you check out the home page link I posted?

If it did not help,

Type about:config<enter> in the address bar. If a warning screen comes up, press the I Accept the Risk button. At the top of the screen is a search bar. Type browser.startup.homepage

What is the value? Right-click and select Reset to restore its default value; about:home

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

What is the address that shows up? Is that where you wanted to be?

When I click on the firefox icon the firefox homepage comes up with ylottery.ny.gov on the address field. The firefox reply is server not found because that url is a typo. I am trying to remove that URL as it comes up every time I try to access Fire fox.
