I'm in need of a new email app, i have been using mailbird and they are not yet able to process accounts without passwords.

I changed my microsoft account to passwordless, does Thunderbird support the new microsoft passwordless email accounts?

No, it doesn't. You can always use app passwords instead. Those are not removed when you go passwordless, as per https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/account-billing/how-to-go-passwordless-with-your-microsoft-account-674ce301-3574-4387-a93d-916751764c43
