Virtual Folders and Gmail

Apparently since version 91, I have an issue with Virtual Folders.

Current version is 91.3.0

In my "Sent" virtual folder, messages sent by Gmail do not appear in the overview list.

I tried to clarify the issue: - the messages sent through my Gmail accounts do not appear in the summary list, but they appear in the detailed folders - this problem concerns all my Gmail accounts and no other accounts (laposte.net, me.com). - this problem only concerns the SENT virtual folder, not the other virtual folders - I can make all the messages sent to reappear correctly, by going to the properties of the virtual folder, then "choose" and ticking the right folders. But when I quit Thunderbird and come back, the messages no longer appear (and the checkmarks for those folders have disappeared). - I arrive at the same result by deleting in the data of Thunderbird the folder "smart mailboxes" and the file "VirtualFolders.dat": at the first launch everything works, at the second one again, the unified view for the Gmail accounts is lost (and Gmail mailboxes do not appear in the VirtualFolders.dat file, section Sent ". They appear in all other sections.) - I deleted and recreated one of my Gmail accounts, without success.

Thanks in advance for your help. Jean-Pierre

Are your folders named with diacritics characters or such? There is currently a bug in this area. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1739789

Gmail automatically copies sent messages to the Sent Mail folder, so that is the folder that should be subscribed in TB, and also 'Place a copy in' in the Copies & Folders section of the gmail Account Settings should be unchecked. With those settings, Sent Mail messages appear in the unified Sent folder when View/Folders is Unified.

I tried to uncheck "place a copy..." and it did not resolve my problem.

Notes : - everything worked fine with TB 78 and I did not changed any settings - in particular "place a copy..." worked with the previous versions of TB - when I set Gmail from French to English (on the Gmail webinterface) everything works perfectly - the "Messages envoyés" (French equivalent of "sent mails") is subcribed, and I see the right content in the Gmail subfolder of the virtual folder

Thanks anyway Jean-Pierre

Your issue has been solved in version 91 a few months ago, correct?
