my entire thunderbird email program w emails and personal folders (decades) are missing, apparently after latest update mid Sept- how do I find them? I have not had any luck finding way to get support directly thru Mozilla

last update shows 78.14.0, was unsuccessful Sep 12, 2021, but successful Sep 15

Matt, I saw some info from earlier years ref profile, and will check again. I am not sure why this would happen now after 20 years ? But for me will take some time or will still look for outside help to sort thru, but thank you. JB

the issue is mostly about changes in the way profiles are allocated. some updates for some people apparently loos the setting for the current profile.

The link I gave you goes through several method of recovering your old profile. from simplest to most complex but also in order of likely hood of recovery.
