In the changes for Firefox 92, I see "The bookmark toolbar menus on macOS now follow Firefox visual styles." Is there a way to revert to the more compact view for these menus I am used to? I am using a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015) with macOS 11.1.

Hi

I believe that this is being adjusted in a future update and is currently being tested in our Nightly builds of Firefox.

I look forward to seeing such an update.

Same problem here.

Ugly. Un-efficient. Un-ergonomical.

This is the Big Sur macOS design sh*t. Please Mozilla, give us people less eye candy, we want to enjoy using apps, not being poured over with unhealthy sugar. Bah!

If I had three thumbs, I would down four of them.

In the current Firefox 92 release you can only reduce the menu spacing via userChrome.css. In the next Firefox 93 release (current Beta/DE) they have added support to reduce the menu spacing via "Density: Compact" on the Customize page.

Note that "Compact" is no longer present by default as a Density choice in Customize.

I see no sign of the promised update mentioned earlier.

For me, this situation is dreadful. To be forced to use Chrome.css to return to a situation that has been available in Firefox for many years is quite distressing.
