When I try to connect to the site for my internet provider, I am connected to the companies site for businesses. Ii have tried my cell (OK), my laptop (OK), and Safari (OK). so it looks like FireFox has become confused about the site meant to be accessed by that URL. Suggestions on how to reteach FireFox, please.

iMac, Catalina latest update, FireFox 89

I noticed a list of articles on the right, one of which is 'Firefox can't load websites but other browsers can' so I checked it out. By clearing all my Firefox cookies and caches, i have solved the problem. Somehow I knew there was a messed up link in there somewhere - just didn't know where to look.

What is the address you are trying to reach? And where do you end up?

Start Firefox using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

I am trying to connect to my internet provider's personal accounts website my.windstream.com. I am sent to the business accounts website we.windstream.com. Safari goes to the correct website as do my phone and laptop.

I have reinstalled firefox but the problem continues.

I will now try Troubleshoot Mode. Wish me luck.

OK. I'm in troubleshoot and the problem is still there. For some reason, Firefox 'thinks' this is the correct website for that url.

Any more suggestions?
