Firefox not loading Google Tabs in logged in state as it used to.
I have Google's Gmail, Calendar and Keep applications set as individual tabs. For a long time every startup would load those tabs in a logged in state as I had left them when shutting down. Recently I had to clear cookies etc, and since then no more auto-sign-in during startup.
Suggestions?

Hi Donald, how did you clear your cookies? There is one-time clearing, and then there are settings to clear them when you close Firefox. If you used one of those features, you probably need to roll back the change. Here are two places to check on the Options/Preferences/Settings page:
- Windows: "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options
- Mac: "3-bar" menu button (or Firefox menu) > Preferences
- Linux: "3-bar" menu button (or Edit menu) > Preferences
- Any system: type or paste about:preferences into the address bar and press Enter/Return to load it
In the left column, click Privacy & Security
Then on the right side, there are two key sections:
(1) Cookies and Site Data
If you check the box for "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" then you need to create exceptions for all the sites where you want to stay logged in, using the button to the right of that (Manage Exceptions...). For convenience, you may prefer to leave this unchecked.
(2) History
There is a general selector here with three options:
- Firefox will: Remember history -- when you see this, most likely Firefox is not set to delete cookies at shutdown. You can change this to Firefox will: Use custom settings for history to verify that.
- Firefox will: Never remember history -- this triggers automatic private browsing and is not compatible with saving cookies between sessions
- Firefox will: Use custom settings for history -- here are the details to check with this setting:
(A) Make sure the box is NOT checked for "Always use private browsing mode" since that is not compatible with saving cookies between sessions
(B) Make sure the box is NOT checked for "Clear history when Firefox closes" -- or if it is checked, click the Settings button to the right and make sure that Cookies are not selected to be cleared
Does all that check out okay?

I changed the "delete cookies when firefox is closed" to no. Works like it used to now.
