Firefox is not displaying fonts properly, and covers some pictures in green. Not all parts of every diplay are involved; I have attached a sample jpg. I have also determined that the same screens display propery if I use Chrome browser, so I do not think it is a hardware problem.

Does it happen in safe mode? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode If not, go to the heading in that document which provides a link to another support article. Your issue may be related to the "hardware acceleration" setting.

Such issues are most likely caused by problems with hardware acceleration in Firefox like posted above.

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

Close and restart Firefox after modifying the setting for changes to take effect.

You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver and check for hardware acceleration related issues.
