I presume you are talking about the 'Folder Pane Columns', which allow you to see 'Total' number of emails and 'Size' of folder and also number of 'Unread' for each folder in each account and this is displayed in the Folder Pane.

  • Menu app icon > Customise > Layout > select 'Folder Pane Columns'

In addition, if you select any folder, it will tell you the number of unread and total number of emails in the 'Status Bar' - if not visible then you may need to enable the Status Bar :

  • Menu app icon > Customise > Select 'Status Bar'
