Import Cyrillic vCard

If I export an address book that has contacts with Cyrillic names to .vcf format, and then try to import everything back - the names become unreadable. The same thing happens when I try to import a vCard from other programs.

can you replicate that on a non portable version? I do not have a suitable contact to try and replicate that.

I installed and checked the regular version, it works the same, Cyrillic after importing from vCard is unreadable. Confirmation on the record: https://youtu.be/SrM9lGQZybI

You could try Card Book and see if it imports the vCards.

This method worked, thank you. However, I think it doesn't solve the original problem with the built-in address book.

There are several bugs to do with Cyrillic characters in TB/Firefox, including this one from 9 years ago:
