I need some help to find out if it is possible to fix the Mozilla VPN (the $4.99 per month subscription) so that certain web sites will not report page not found, or page not authorized, when the VPN is on.

https://www.jea.com/Login.aspx?ReturnUrl=/Apps/MyJUT/Alerts.aspx Jacksonville Electric Authority billing https://shop.shipt.com/ Grocery shopping service https://www.paycomonline.net/v4/ee/web.php/app/login?logout=true Home Instead HR web portal

Today I even lost the internet connectivity on my Xfinity service upon attempting to access jea.com with the VPN on; I had to turn it off and back on to get internet connectivity through Xfinity working (i.e. the internet came back INSTANTLY upon turning it off, and it has continued to work (so far!) with the VPN on). I have been noticing disconnections requiring a modem reset recently, and after a modem reset I have to turn it off and back on to get internet back.

Hey Allan and Gayle,

Thanks for sharing your experience through our forum! I'll be glad to help.

Some websites disallow usage of a VPN and will block access if they detect you’re using one. There’s no current workaround for this as it’s a decision made on their end of things, not ours. It may be something we can look at working around in the future.

If you're experiencing connection loss or can't connect to the internet using our Mozilla VPN, try signing out of the Mozilla VPN (you can do this by going to the gear icon on the top right of the application, then scrolling down to "Sign out"), uninstalling it, re-downloading it, and reinstalling it. The sign out is an important part of the process due to deleting some files that otherwise don't get purged. This usually resolves these kinds of issues.

If the issue persists, please don't hesitate to reach out through our Support Contact. To do so, log in to accounts.firefox.com with the Firefox account associated with the subscription, next to subscriptions, click on manage and you will have the option to Contact Support.

I hope this helps!
