Can't see "save as..." dialog box while in the full screen mode

When I browse in full screen mode and try to save something (a web page or a picture... it doesn't matter) the dialog box does not show up on the screen - only two big buttons on my touch bar which allow me to "cancel" or "save".

Is there a way to fix that?

This problem appeared a while ago since the last udates of Catalina I guess and is still there on macos Big sur.
