Years ago there was I think maware going around where all you did was open an email and it would go into your contacts and email out spam to all the addresses on your contact list. As far as I rememeber I think that may have been lmited to Outlook but I am not certain. Should that be a concern with TB 78, even a remote one? My address lookup feature doesnt work anyways based on a previous issue so I was thinking of moving my Cardbook to a second profile and just open two windows with the two profiles to isolate the email from the Cardbook. I have remote content disabled. Still not sure how isolated the amill is from the contacts? Sandboxed in any way?

In short, no. In a decade of support I have never seen a report of Thunderbird being affected.
