I was told to use mailstore to archive old PST files from 2010 outlook which I no longer use. I used mailstore and archived a PST file (have more PST files to do) but now I do not know what to do to get these onto Thunderbird. It called it "microsoft outlook". I clicked on "run" and it ran successfully but I do not know now what to do to use it in thunderbird. Please help

I saw somewhere that you could "export" the archives to other programs like TBird but I do not see this "export" option. When I right click on it, it gives me an option to "run" but I see no "export" choice.

Export the MailStore archived mail to eml files, then create a subfolder or subfolders of Local Folders in TB. Add the eml files to the subfolder by drag and drop from File Explorer.

Another question: when you export to TBird what folder should it be exported to?

I do not see the option to "export" the archived PST file to eml. All I see are options to "run" which I already did but don't know what that accomplished. This is my first time trying to use Thunderbird and mailtore so I am sure I am missing something which is obvious to most others.

OK, I found the export function but the choices are to export to: 1) Exchange Mailbox 2) Imap 3) Thunderbird 4) etc but no "eml" files in the choices

If I click on export to thunderbird, it asks tp browse to the file to export to (it has "default" as the default" so I tried that and it did not work. I looked through the TBird program to see within Windows whether there was an obvious folder to install to but I could not find one under Windows x86 and Mozilla Thunderbird. How shall I proceed? I can now see read my emails via the mailstore program so that is a firrst step but I would like to get this into Thunderbird so I can also get the other Outlook files into TBird email client. Thanks

When you click Export E-mail in the left pane of MSH, there are 3 choices in the right pane: E-mail servers, E-mail clients and E-mail files. Select Directory (File System) under E-mail files, then EML files, then specify the Target folder. When the profile is created, double-click it to start the export. After it's complete, add the eml files to TB as explained above.

I exported to Mail Store Home. Tried to export to Thunderbird and got the following error:

"An error has occurred.

The selected profile does not have a configuration for local folders."
Now what?

Thanks
