I can't figure out how to set a default `From:` address when Thunderbird opens to compose a message.
So, I have 2 email accounts in Thunderbird. Whenever I click a link to email someone I want it to open to a specific address every time. It only ever opens to the address that I do not use much at all and I've already accidentally sent a few emails from it which I'm sure is very confusing to the recipients. I've searched all over Google and YouTube and while I find things that say it's supposed to show you this they don't actually.
Please, I really need to correct this. Thank you.

Clicking a mailto link will apply the default account. Tools/Account Settings, the default account is at the top of the left pane, underlined. To set another account as default, select it in the left pane, then Account Actions (bottom of left pane), Set as Default.
