In Thunderbird 78.4.3 when I go to edit my passwords an alert appears asking for my Windows password. I do not have a password set in my Windows 10 [20H2] platform. This is a new request not seen in previous builds. I removed key3.db file as recommended without success. I do not wish to setup a master password. Any solution would be greatly appreciated.

Chosen solution

Open Config. editor (Options/General) and double-click security.osreauthenticator.blank_password to true, restart TB. There are some other steps to make the setting permanent:

Thxs sfhowes for the support posting on French mozilla. I was able to follow their instructions and now the settings are permanent to the current version.
