Thunderbird 'write' format does not have a send button
I have read the answer to this question from august 2014. I have tried the recommended actions. When the new message panel comes up, there is NO tool bar - just a title line, From, To, Subject lines and a message space. There is NO Send button in the compose tool bar. Nothing happens or changes as a result of pressing RESTORE. I have been using TB for several years. I am running Windows 7 Professional or Enterprise. Everything else seems OK. There was a TB update that installed within the last few days (today = 11/12/2020). The message format lets one fill in the form, but not send anything. In the Paragraph box (select the format) there was, at first, a "send later", but the standard "send" was not available. Now, the "Send Later" option is not displayed and is not in the paragraph list of formats. Thanks for your help.

Select 'Write' to open new Write window. Press 'Alt' key OR F10 key This should get a temporary 'Menu Bar' with 'File, Edit etc Now make it permanent: View > Toolbars > select 'Menu Bar' Now get the 'Composition Toolbar' back - assuming it is not showing. View > Toolbars > select 'Composition toolbar'
'Send Later' appears when Thunderbird cannot connect to the internet because it might be in Offline mode or if connectivity was temporarilly dropped. 'Send' button initially may appear greyed out. This is normal and only becomes valid for use after an email address has been entered in a TO field or one of the other options.
Did this get the 'Menu Bar and 'Composition Toolbar' back ?
