Why does the folder list for a Gmail account in Thunderbird look different from the Gmail app itself? I'm thinking about why there are 2 Sent Folders and an extra [Gmail] entry? Anyone who knows? /hans peter

Chosen solution

It's due to gmail's version of IMAP. In Tools/Account Settings, Server Settings, click Advanced and set the IMAP server directory to [Gmail], restart TB, and notice that the folder pane is the conventional form (see pictures).

Unfortunately, I can't find the Advanced in the Server Settings. I am using TB version 78.9.1 (32 bit). Regards,
